Octava - Szayel Aporro Granz

Szayel Aporro Granz from Bleach.

I completely love him, and I wanted to show my affection in this form. I tried to show a side of him that I can personally see; a calmer, softer one, because I believe everyone has this side to them, no matter what their exterior behavior might be most of the time.

I'm quite happy with the sketch I drew to start with, making it my first special Szayel fanart. I decided to try attempting to colour picture using digital means - in this case PhotoShop CS3. Although, I don't think it really turned out that well. I can say I tried my best though.

I will probably colour this same picture in the traditional format and submit it later.

Comments are especially appreciated in this case considering how close he is to my heart. Thank you all for your support.
